hmm... looking at the old code... <shudder>(it is pages and pages long of a giant case switch with 5 lines repeated over and over with minor changes) I will patch in a quick fix but, I definitely need to redo this section at some point. Using a bit more logical thinking will go a long way to shorten...

OS SKU 101 hmm... that is... not listed in my reference chart. Ohh I see. The chart has not been updated in a good while so... ya. There are even higher numbers then 71 now. Time to add a few new definitions to the chart.

of installed updates yes. of updates it wants to add yes/no. Yes/no because its a huge log filled with all kinds of other stuff. You could install the updates and then type into a command prompt wmic qfe list /format:htable > %userprofile%\Desktop\hotfixes.htm Find it on your desktop Zip it and post...

ok this will do nicely. I have to reinstall my vm copy anyways since the time to register ran out on it. Some of the update on your list are in the script. Strange that they did not install.

The thing with office updates is we(the release updaters) don't have office so we cannot create a detection for the update. It was also a hassle for WhatACrock to deal with updating that many scripts with no help.

Right click on it and select "create shortcut" The right click on the new shortcut and hit properties Find the edit box marked target. edit the text at the end so it says...
