Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates

don't worry not gone again... installing a few of them each day. Install one... restart... install one... restart. takes for ever on a VM. Although it would be faster if I dedicated more then 2 of my cores to it but, I play games (which I pause often to check progress) while I wait for install to co...

Re: Windows 10 Updates

Re: Autopatcher v6 Blog

hmm seems reasonable. Frank... ya. I actually heard from him like 6 months ago? he FINALLY noticed there was something wrong with the .com site and asked me about it.... ya. I said... keep it the same so it auto routes to here. Anyways I am back and I am working on the win 7 script again. I will sho...

Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates

Impromptu vacation was impromptu. I am back now and I am testing something for windows 7 atm. I am going to setup the script with KB3125574(Convenience rollup update) in mind. This rollup package includes most updates that were released after the release of SP1 for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 ...

Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates

You probably do not have that update then or if you do have it... it might be under something different but still similar.
Try just searching for KB4034664

Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates

Clicked the link and downloaded an MSU file 477MB in size. Looked inside it with 7zip, appears to be crammed full of microsofty things. Ran it, twiddled thumbs awhile as it ran, "Installation Complete, you must restart your computer yadayada" *reboot* ok, back, seems to have worked. :) ok...

Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates

I am unsure what has happened with WhatACrock. I am deeply worried for him. He was no young guy from what I remember of our conversations. He does not reply to any of his emails or chat accounts. also... from what it seems... updating windows 7 is pretty much one file every month now and it is a rol...

Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates

Well I did manage to update windows 7 with apup to its latest but, guess what. All updates that come after are from the MS download.windowsupdate.com (catalog server) not from the download.microsoft.com (standard server). The links from the catalog server seem like they might be temporary links. I w...

Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates

ok like wow... I remember now why I hate starting a fresh install. Windows 7 took forever to get updated. Damn updates kept freezing too. grr. Funny thing though... using just apup to update to its current spot; Windows updates says there are 31 more updates to install that were all pre 2016. Strang...

Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates

since we appear to have... misplaced the illustrious Whatacrock. I will update the scripts. Starting with this one. Give me time to get in the swing of things ehh?
