Re: Microsoft Installs New Update on Windows 7/8.1 to Nag About Windows 10 Upgrade
In my not-so-humble opinion the tactic MicroSucks has taken with WinBloze 10 has been the opposite of lil' ole' reminders, it's basic harassment, spamming, an ongoing barrage of crapware posing as updates - and we pay money for this treatment. The amount of trouble they've caused people with users w...

Re: Autopatcher v6.2
I was giving the arguments file some more thought... btw, I like its simplicity, much easier than shortcuts, and I like the file in \AP root. I'll admit I guessed at the placement of the switches since I had never used it before - one 'in front' of the other or 'below' on the next line - I used next...

Re: Windows 7 Pre SP1 failed
DMW 1) - Update AP to 6.2.6. - see the releases list in AP. 2) - Update your .Net x86 release to get the fixed apm for .Net 4.6.1 (KB3143693). 3) - Don't install major versions of software (IE11) while installing other updates, pending reboots can't be waiting and certain updates need to already be ...

Re: Windows 7 Pre SP1 failed
Hi Wac :) Not sure if you noticed this from dmw's log above... code snip: Module '\Components\__dotnet\NDP46-KB3143693-x86.apm' EXPLICITLY refers to its module folder as \Components\__dotnet\dotNET-x64_files'. However, such folder does not exist! Error Detected: File not found in RunCommand At Line ...

Re: Autopatcher v6.2
Fixed the issue with it freaking out on files without extensions the blacklist and arguments files for example. I should give them an extension anyways. Any suggestions? blacklist.list | arguments.list blacklist.apf | arguments.apf blacklist.txt | arguments.txt blacklist.cfg | arguments.cfg blackli...

Re: AutoPatcher .NET Framework Addon Packs
Hi Wac :) I'm not sure this is an issue - I see it then I don't... regarding the PreAction.FILEMOVE (line 59 x86, line 63 x64) - unsure if this would break the command. code snip: Components\__dotnet\dotNET-x86_files\NDP1.1sp1-KB2833941-X86.exe | autopatcher:\modules\Components Components\__dotnet\d...

Re: dotnet_x64.rtiz Script Problem?
Thanks, for moving this. Still learning the ropes. Sweeper gave the option to delete these files, decided not to do this, thinking they were needed but not aligned with the script. I suppose I could have manually deleted these and checked for status but ... what should have been done with the Sweep...
Re: APUP 1.5
OK that Link I fixed right away when I read that. Yeah you did, and thanks for fixing it. I guess I TOTALLY forgot to reply to you about that information though  ... here it is. When I redid the forum a lot of stuff got set back to defaults. Default in this case being... 3 attachments per pos...
Re: The MCP
Thank you for fixing the permissions issue. Now, this isn't a priority - when you have a moment. I had to disable notifications because I can't delete em anymore and they were building up. I see only 1 option - 'Read'. I can mark em as read or not. I attached a screenshot of what I see. I figure thi...
