AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates
Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates
And I see you found one for Skype. The one I got today will help when upgrading to Windows 8 or 10. Will these be added if you go a link?

Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates
I will reiterate again that if End Users want KB2952664 or KB2876229 please use Windows Update for these...
A further note... KB2952664 was originally added in the Windows 7 releases back in April 2014, this will be removed to stop confusion. Keep you posted when releases updated.
Both Windows 7 x64 and x86 updated March 26
changelog: -KB2952664;

Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates
All these updates that have been appearing lately do NOT have direct download links, they are only available from Windows Update/Microsoft Update services. So remember that only those with direct links will be included in releases, so much time is wasted chasing down the links, Is it too much to ask that just reporting these is fine..

I saw that too.. just scratched my head and ignored it since it doesn't say ANYTHING about what it does except it enables more options for windows updates. Probably enables the "bug the user to upgrade" ability.parkd1 wrote:This showed up today on the Windows update under optional update. KB3035583.

Re: AutoPatcher Windows 7 (x64) Updates
This update is another to do with upgrading (more like downgrading) to Windows 10 Technical Preview. My advice if you have no intentions of upgrading is to hide the update. On the other hand if installed, then uninstall it.
This is another one of those updates that Microsoft sheds very little light upon..
