Extra includes several programs. Prominent ones are Shockwave, Flashplayer, Silverlight(MS IE addon), Some XP Powertoys, and TweakUI

Noticed lately that most of the APMs related to Adobe software have not been edited to: Operating System > ANY as opposed to listing individual OSs. To make matters worse when the OS is listed it usually does not include ... EIGHT_X**, EIGHT_1_X**, or TEN_X**. The only one of these APMs that really needs the OS's listed is Flash Player ActiveX from XP up to 7 - because in 8,8.1 and 10 it's included by Microsoft. I know editing the various APMs to change the operating system to ANY where appropriate is tedious but as the APMs are updated could this not be easily accomplished? :D

Also, I've edited all of the vcredist_20**_x64 APMs to ANY here and have not had any problem in Autopatcher when run in XP Pro, Win7 w/SP1, Win8.1, and Win10 TP (all 64bit).

Your logic is duly noted DesertJerry, changes can be on next update to the module, however will leave as Operating System specific due to the fact regarding what ViroMan has posted in his Beta blog..

http://autopatcher.net/forum/viewtopic. ... t=10#p2845
Cons:
There will be a required level of .NET installed to run the program. For all OS except Windows XP there will be no issue. Windows XP users would have to install .NET 2.0 at least (So far. It might go higher). I will however maintain a non .NET version. However note it will probably no longer get new features just bug fixes.
Lost the ability to use "any" in function and API calls. Seriously that hurts but, it can be dealt with.
In regards to what Operating Systems are listed, Windows 10 (Technical Preview) is not included as it has not reached RTM at this time. Once it becomes a retail release then it will be included.
As for Windows 8, enough said.

With that in mind I believe the current configuration with the apm modules is fine, you may wish to edit the apms to suit your requirements.

Using "any" in apms will be fine, I was talking about using 'any' as a data type in function calls.

you could have a function look like
public function Convert_Integer_Into_Character(byval Derp as ANY) as char
now it has to be
public function Convert_Integer_Into_Character(byval Derp as Int) as char

No, no its my fault for putting out extra information that was likely over many peoples heads without clarifying what I meant.

viewtopic.php?f=18&t=83&start=10#p2998

Flash 17 also seems can not downloaded very well.

is it because new 'Extras Add-on' script saving folder is changing from previous logarithm? <-- just my 2 cent
