Extra includes several programs. Prominent ones are Shockwave, Flashplayer, Silverlight(MS IE addon), Some XP Powertoys, and TweakUI

java 8 has a version update 74 too.

Yes I know however keep wondering why the Autopatcher is still loading 8.0 build 73

Active java versions are,
Windows XP - Java Runtime Environment 1.7.0.80

Autopatcher still loading Java 8 Update 73 as this is the public release also provides direct download links.
Java 8 Update 74 on the other does not as you are required to accept the agreement before downloading the update.
You must accept the Oracle Binary Code License Agreement for Java SE to download this software.
This has been mentioned previously so it is individuals choice with regards to Java 8

It will be interesting to see how Java Web Start works out, if I understand things, by 2017 no more Java browser plugin...

I know many of the browser plugin and I assume extension devs aren't happy about the direction Mozilla and others are going with the new API for browsers and the web.

What's coming: http://jdk8.java.net/download.html jre-8u102-ea-bin-b02-windows-x64-11_apr_2016.exe plus 32bit version - have fun.

Java JRE updated April 20, now available

changelog:@Java_jre_8 Update 91.

And before any one posts in regards to Update 92, this is available for download....

And 92 is out. What is the difference of update 91 and 92?
