This thread is to notify users of updates for this script or for others to bring up issues with this script.

The .NET Framework Addon is split into two scripts for your convenience of time and storage space. One is for a (x86) Windows and the other is for a (x64) Windows.

dotNET for February has been updated. Support for Win 8.1 has been added.

dotNET addons have been updated for May.

Changelog: Note: .NET 4.5.2 has replaced 4.5.1. This will be the only version updated
from the .NET 4.5 Family via APUP. I will no longer be updating .NET 4.0
for XP even though an updated .NET 4.0 can still be deployed on XP.

Previously 4.5.1 ended up with various version numbers depending on the type
of system it was installed on and 4 different version numbers were necessary
for detection. I do not have the resources to test all systems, so some of
you who install 4.5.2 may not see the component shown as installed (blue)
in AP. You will need to report the version number from the following regkey
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full\Version
so it can be added for detection if this is the case.

Also, some will have noticed an update for .NET Native. This is a compiler
that can be used for building and deploying Windows Store apps and is not
included in this addon.

Last but not least, WU may offer you an update (KB2931366) for 4.5.1 after installing 4.5.2. This update
is superseded by 4.5.2 and should not be offered by WU.

I've updated dotNET with some fixes that were missing. Also, dotNET 4.0 now only applies to XP and is in
a frozen state only with updates prior to May 2014.
