Post by Whatacrock »

Microsoft has released the latest update to Windows 8.1.

This series of updates are the responsibility of the end user as it is a quite large update and does time to install. Two ways users can install, one by Windows Update and the other by manually downloading the updates and installing one after the other. You will need to restart after each is manually installed.

For those wishing to download manually here are the links... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3000850

The November 2014 KB3000850 Update is also known as Windows 8.1 Update 3.
Microsoft has Windows 8.1 ISO images from Technet/MSDN that have the November 2014 update integrated.
Note that Update 1 (KB2919355) has to be installed first before installing KB3000850 as Microsoft stated in KB article 3000850.

Sorry bugmenot the links are kinda iffy. If you had posted direct links that would have been fine.

Also Guys/Gals... I will try to bring this up to date after the windows 7 script is written. I can not promise it will be complete since I do NOT have windows 8. I will get it up to date as far as I can and then ask you guys to see what else your install of windows may ask for. THAT and there is totally no way I can get detection's completely right without an install so I may have to get creative.
