Been A while...
Try this. Patched a small defect in the function that opens ini files. Wish I could get these errors. I have no clue why I don't get them. My OS is taking care of shit for me instead of tripping up.

Again its just the exe.

The runtime error is still there when I do the check. When I delete the config file the runtime error is gone.

damn it.

edit:
Ok throwing in a bunch of error code. Will want to run the next version with debug.

edit:
File attached. Again.. Run this with debug. You might get the AP error window this time instead of OS error window. In either case what I am interested in is the log file.

@ViroMan --- are we getting closer to a final version to be released -- ask as noticed the -B has been removed from the filename...

A suggestion for an option -- what about a return to the download updates if a verfication error for one or more files occurs, allowing the user to redownload the questionable release. This would allow users a quicker response to the issue instead of waiting until all the files etc to be loaded and verified.... Just IMHO..

Yes we are close. If I can get this "issue" nailed I will put in a new front window and then its golden. Until the C++ version is done.

For the re-download... do you mean in the event of a non-official state is determined return to update window with the affected update selected? I suppose that is do-able but, its probably something I would put in options area to enable. Don't want the silly thing trying to download the main list on an offline system. Could take a minute before it fails. It would also break the ability to run AP via batch and answer file to force it back to the update screen.
