So after looking into it.. I have determined Micro$oft's listview sort function is bugged. Nothing I can edit there. Sorting the list using its own sort function bugs the sub item list for adding future items. There are two options here. Reload the sub items each time the list is sorted or create my own sort function. Will think about this.

OK so a new version is up. v6.1.6 (don't worry I WILL skip version 6.6.6)

Changes:
  • Columns have arrows indicating sort direction.
  • Date format changed to dd/mm/yyyy. So the change was to remove the spaces.
  • Date column can now be sorted.
  • Items will now gray out and be un-selectable instead of being removed from the list when you can't/shouldn't download them (have to add in some way to tell user reason why).
  • minor under hood improvements.

Updated the change log on first page.

Alright going to work on code to get the status bar more fleshed out and possibly add the first frame in so people can change options at start and be able to skip to installing.

Ok 6.1.7 is out.

Linky

changes:
  • Status bar is more descriptive of what is going on. It has two sets of text. First is what screen your on. Second is whats going on. Could still be improved and will be.
  • New "Front page" window for you to select what you want to do. Its very drab but, it will do for the moment. I just don't have any inspiration on what to put there.
  • A bit more error code in some places that had none (some older areas from before me).

Tested 6.1.7... started autopatcher beta 6.1.7, passed the EULA's, in options clicked to download updates. Once list was displayed selected none, clicked the about button, clicked the release info and was landed with a "YIPES" error.

Error Detected: Subscript out of range in AboutRelease At Line 102

Restarted autopatcher, clicked download updates, none selected, clicked next and allowed it to continue, once updates were displayed clicked about then release info and all was normal..

May be just a small bug or it's me !!

So in my attempt to repeat your error... I noticed a small issue... sometimes it skips right to select install mode. :(

I selected to go to update window and was just about to move my mouse to click next and it skipped right to select what to install.
