Problems with installing

Post by DangerRunner »

Hi there,

I have been having some difficulty for some time now with two different problems.

The first problem

Code: Select all

Autopatcher v6.1.21 Has Started at 20/10/2014 05:41:54 PM

Starting Autopatcher From C:\Users\Daniel\Documents\Apup_1_4_38

Detected OS: English (1033) Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Current Locale: English / Non-Unicode Default: English
Error Detected: Permission denied in ExecuteCommand At Line 102
This happens when I go to install

When this does not happen I go and select all the updates I would like and no matter how many times I install and reboot it never installs them
Here is the log for it:
► Show Spoiler
I run a ssd and hardrive with the OS on the ssd

Please help

What you need to do is start autopatcher, allow it to load and verify, once this achieved only install the critical files on first run. Once finished allow the reboot.

Once reboot is completed restart autopatcher again, this time select the Non Critical updates and continue..

Along with what Whatacrock mentioned -> install fewer updates, too many in a single run is asking for trouble...

Make sure your system security settings aren't blocking autopatcher.exe, 7za.exe, or curl.exe. These 3 tools within your \apup folder need to run without interference. You might also check the update log files for any warnings, search by update KB #.

@DangerRunner --- corrected the apm module in relation to this error line -- "Error Detected: Invalid property value in frmMain.installItems At Line 130"

Redownload the release and report if eroor no longer appears
