Post by parkd1 »

I just checked windows 7 x64. No issue.
edit:
Windows 7 x86 also checks fine. Perhaps issue is on your side? Although... you may get unofficial. I had to run sweeper on both of my directories to make official.

Error Detected: Permission denied in ExecuteCommand At Line 102
It tried to create a temp file to run the hidden batch file from.
104 - It tried to write to the file
106 - It tried to close the file
110 - it tried to run the file that didn't exist
114 - it tried to delete the file that didn't exist

so it all started when for some reason... it couldn't create the batch file in the chosen temp directory.

Well the log shows you have everything selected. You could try running a few at a time. I doubt it would matter but, it would narrow possibilities down.

The log clearly shows that other commands are taking place with no issues. Its possible that the commands themselves are incorrect or perhaps they are even being run to fast together. I will examine one of the scripts tomorrow to see if there is a bad command line there. Though you can try just doing 3 updates at a time. Examine the log to see if the errors show up.

Well, I'm having the same problem.
---------------------------
Verification Failed
---------------------------
One or more files has failed verification. Please re-run AutoPatcher Updater.
If this problem persists, please report to the forums at autopatcher.net.
---------------------------
This problem persists. I tried running apup as administrator, too and with the following scripts (not all at once, but one after another) and every single failed with the above message.
APUP 1.4.38
Autopatcher on Windows 7 SP1 (x64)
AutoPatcher Common Modules
Microsoft Security ENU Addon Pack
JAVA JRE 8.25 (x64) (See Note after download)
I'm running "AutoPatcher Updater v1.4.38" apup.exe from 6th of February 2014
on Windows 7 Professional SP 1 (x64) with an activated legal licence in a Parallels Virtual Machine on Mac OS X 10.9.

Can I provide more information?

All help is appreciated.
