Hi Jamie, the main error in your log seems to be the "Return code: 6.

Found this in an old post here --> viewtopic.php?t=47&start=80#p1008
TheAPGuy wrote:...From reading the log it seems your having intermittent connection issues. You at least got the main list however were unable to get anything else.

Return code: 6. Description: Couldn't resolve host. The given remote host was not resolved. <-- DNS issues
Return code: 7. Description: Failed to connect to host. <-- Got IP address from DNS, couldn't contact host

Are you using a proxy? Have you set up your firewall to allow AP? Remember it is a different version of AP so you would have to configure the FW to allow it. Also... try downloading smaller amounts at a time. Even though I have fixed it... you can try and see if that solves anything.
Hope this helps!

and there's this thread -> viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1227

regarding

Code: Select all

This array is fixed or temporarily locked
In prjUpdater.mdlDownloader.processDownloadQueue At Line 380
I don't know if this was resolved? We used to edit Titles adding Resolved for serious issues, and a pointer to The Fix so other users could see how to fix the problem... might be a good idea to start this up again, for the more serious issues - not the usual script errors.

I'm sure when TheAPGuy sees the thread he'll have something to say

Duno what to say to that error. I never figured it out how that was even possible. Can you reliably replicate the error?

On one of the computers it is working.. on the other it is not.
I also can't - on this one - only update with the updates downloaded from the other PC.
I will check your posts!

Oke... stil not workin'
I have no proxy and the FW disabled.
The thing is that even with the updates downloaded on the other PC, I won't get the updates on this PC.
Just to be sure I will upload the log.
Thanks!

try using version 6.1.40
http://www.autopatcher.net/apengine/Aut ... v6_1_40.7z
Also use verbose on it to increase the logging that happens.
Hold the right mouse button over Autopatcher and drag it to a blank spot on the folder. Let go. Click create shortcut. right click on the new shortcut and hit properties. under target add " /verbose" without the quotes but, with the space. Click OK button. right click on the new shortcut and click rename. Rename it Autopatcher with verbose. now you have two ways to run autopatcher.

Thanks! I downloaded it. And used it first 'normal'. All the downloads are in, and the program runs.
However... every few seconds it hangs... and so it takes hours for just a single %.
Next I will try it with verbose.

Back again...
First, because I thought an update was important, I tried and used - it worked - WSUSOFFLINE.
Today I tried Autopatcher - so much better... - and it updated perfect :)
Thanks for helping me out!
Kind regards,
Jamie
