Autopatcher doesn't start : file's MD5 hash not found

Post by Alzimut »

Hello there,
Autopatcher doesn't start because it doesn't find a file (while it 's trying to get a file's MD5 hash.)

where : mdlreleaseintegrity.getMD5hashfromfile()
errorcode : 0x35 : file not found

Here is the log file (not very much inside) :
Getting OS Type And Microsoft Items Installed On This Machine...
Detected OS: Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2

thank you for your help

@Alzimut --- The Windows XP x86 contains updates for Service Pack 3, so you want to consider to update your XP. Some updates will install but the majority do not...

Here is the downloads link to Service Pack 3

http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... 86-ENU.exe

Thank you... but same shit after having updated with sp3.

But i found the solution by copying all autopatcher files on my system partition (it was previously on another disk)

thank you

Was the other disk directly attached to the system or an external hdd?

It was directly attached, not external.

The calls are windows system calls so almost always works even over network and USB but, to not work over another internal hdd... huh.
