why installation so slow to complete ?

I'm running VMware Player 4.0.6, virtual machine has allocated 2 CPU cores and 2Gb RAM and 80Gb HDD. I run autopatcher from VM.
I attached two screens, showing CPU and network usage.

Network is NOT used when installing updates unless there is some update that uses it that I am not aware of.

In researching your issue I have come across this article.
