And it should work all the way up to version 4.6 right?

yep. I don't have any problem using it on windows 7 and I didn't even install 2.0.

Has there been any more progress on the Windows 10 AP? I'd be willing to help out in what little spare time I have as well.

It is already supported. Someone just has to make a script.
