Proposal to changes in releases for Internet Eplorer

As many are aware Patch Day is upon us again. I am proposing a change to the releases in regards to Internet Explorer updates.
It is time consuming to create the modules for each version of Internet Explorer that is available to the Operating Systems.
My proposal is that only the latest version of IE in each OS, that is IE9 in Vista, 11 in Win 7 and Win 8.1 be updated. Am making an educated guess that many of you use a Web Browser other than Internet Explorer, myself included in this group..

This proposal depends on feedback from the community, if there is a lack of response then this will be automatically implemented in the September Update releases.

Any comments welcomed......

Agree with WAC. Make your voice heard... or rather seen or it is a silent agreement.

I should also have mentioned that this proposal is double edged, not only saving time from repetitious work but also for those downloading the releases. It will cut down on bandwidth required and time to download. As an example Windows 7 x64 could be reduced in size by up to 100 Mb.

There is another that needs the same fate, this being the Remote Desktop Protocol, currently 3 versions in Windows Seven.

Currently looking into this, keep you posted..
