Tweaking.com - Hardware Identify
Tweaking.com - Hardware Identify will help identify unknown hardware on your system. This program does not help you download drivers but helps let you know what the hardware is so you know what drivers to find.
For example say you just reinstalled a computer and the device manager shows multiple unknown hardware with no drivers installed. Well you don't know what drivers to find since you don't know what the hardware is. Now with Tweaking.com - Hardware Identify you can see what that hardware is.

Current Version is 1.1.0
All of the program from Tweaking.com are really good. Hardware Identify is just the newest program from there That site is run by one man and does it on his free time. If you need computer help that is the site to go. Where he lives he runs a computer repair shop and build computers too. He is really help full. He has another site too that you can check out too. http://www.pcwintech.com/

Unchecky was previously mentioned in first post
Unchecky
Unchecky is a small tool that can help you prevent accidental acceptance of third party sponsor offers during software installations. The program runs as a background service and monitors your software installations. If it detects any unrelated offers, it automatically unchecks them for you, so you don't accidentally install any unwanted software.

As for XP Services Optimizer I am uncertain of one designed for Windows 7 -- search results http://www.smartpcutilities.com/servicesoptimizer.html

after going to the link... I am confused as to what it actually does. They do a poor job in explaining things... not that we do any better though ehh? I mean I see images with a ton of buttons but, there is no explanation of them. What is "god mode"?

What is "god mode"?
One way to explain it, similar to the saying "keeping one's eggs all in the same basket"
Intended for developers as a shortcut to various internal settings, such features have been around since Vista and even before, according to the head of Microsoft's Windows division, who tells CNET that the so-called GodMode settings folder uncovered by bloggers is just one of many undocumented developer features included in Windows.
I too found all the screenshot shots a little confusing but it appears the programmer has unraveled these hidden settings MS has in the Operating Systems.
