Will look at the Microsoft Debug Diagnostic Tool once I have cleared the Operating System Updates for May.

I spotted this too but didn't have any time to delve into it too deeply

Keep you updated....

UPDATE: This tool is more for advanced users, but worth a mention in the URL Listing. The tool supports Operating Systems Windows Vista and above, also requires .NET Framework 4.0

download links for those interested....

Whilst researching the switches for Java 8 over the last few days, I ran across a clever little potable executable which came in handy

Universal Silent Switch Finder 1.5.0.0
Universal Silent Switch Finder is a compact utility designed to help you find the silent switch in the applications that you want to install. If you want to deploy software without the user intervention you can use this tool in order to run the installer silently.

The universal silent switch finder does have its limitations. It works fine for Inno setup and nsis installers. It has a problem with PE as it does detect them correctly and therefore unable to display the switches. Totally unable to handle msi installers.

Will need to search around and find a software which handles all installer types correctly. KEEP LOOKING !!!

UPDATE: did find this in my travels though
