It appears that Adobe has released a new incarnate of Adobe Reader, this being named Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. http://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/products/pdf-reader.html

Supported Operating Systems: Windows 7, Windows 8, Server 2008 R2 and Server 2012.

Currently collating data in order that this can be added for those interested to autopatcher.

Will inform when this becomes available..

Latest installed OK in Win7 w/SP1, Win8.1u1, and Win10 TP Build 10049 all 64bit - not an option for XP w/SP2 64bit.

Noticed that I could download the installer but when I ran it and the new reader was installed ok the installer program I had downloaded disappeared - did not find a location to actually download the complete reader. :)

Thanks for your input DesertJerry, always welcome.

As I stated in my last post this Reader is designed for Win 7 and above. I do have a working link for the offline installer, just need to create the script, and test it.

It is true that the online installer download is deleted once the installation is successful.

More to come.

Okay, have created a script etc for Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and added this to the main list, it should be noted that the download may run a bit slow as it an ftp location.

Download size of installer is 47.8 Mb.

Now that this is available, am looking for your input in regards to Adobe Reader, particularly with Supported Operating Systems. Do you want it to support as it now stands or change it to only support Windows XP and Windows Vista ??

Comments welcome ..

Update: made a small change to the installation section, instead of utilizing the /sPB (Silent Mode with Progress Bar for product) have used /sALL (Silent Mode for product). You will only be displayed the autopatcher progress bar during this installation..
