Well I have forgotten my Windows 7 admin password for login and I can't get into my computer any more. I used to use my other computer but had saved many coursework files a while ago and now need them urgently for exams. Does anybody know any other way to bypass the password? Any other program that is perhaps easier to use? Or how to exactly boot off the USB.

Any help is appreciated.

ok, noted. I thought this would be a proper place for that question. Actually, i searched on web and tried a couple of tools without any luck.

If the password has expired (in case any policies are in effect), you need to change the password.
If you forgot the password, you can use Hint to recollect the password. Otherwise, you can get the password in case you've written/stored it in a safe place. Else, you can use the Windows installation disk to restore the PC to an earlier time the password was set.

If none of these steps work, you can try some third party program to reset your windows 7 password like UUkeys windows password recovery
