My cat has been preliminarily diagnosed with F.I.P. Feline Infectious Peritonitis. We sent out for a blood test. If it comes back positive... he will die in a few months(probably in a week at his rate). He already is practically a bag of bones and we are force feeding him with a syringe full of a special wet food. This hit us so fast. Noticed two days ago he was lethargic and not eating. Took him to the vet today and he has yellow fluid buildup in his abdomen. Crossing my fingers is just something else weird causing this. FIP is nearly 100% fatal in this form. My cat won the 5% chance lottery of catching this.

So until we get things sorted I may not be here all that often. I will make an effort to stop in and answer questions when I can or feel up to it.

So... ya. Just put my cat down.

*hug* My condolences. That fuzzy little hole in the heart is a real downer.

My condolences also. It's really hard losing a member of your family (not considered as pets but as family members)
